Our 6 month guarantee against workmanship defects is as follows:
If there is a problem with your floor due to workmanship defects-we will fix it.
A defect in workmanship is defined as follows:
A defect that is caused by the quality of labor.
-visible defect that can be seen when standing with normal
light (not on your knees in certain light)
These are not considered workmanship defects:
Cracks in boards-boards will expand and contract with changes
in humidity
Damage to flooring:
Standing water (leaks or spills)
Negligence (high heels, pets, worn off finish, ect)
Dark stains (pet stains, water damage, ect)
Structural issues (settling home or improper remodel)
Patch work and spot sands (we will make every attempt to
match and blend repairs, however, slight variations may
exist and is not a workmanship defect)
Screen and coats
New coats may not adhere to the old finish
There is no way to know how the old floor was taken care of
Murphy's oil soap, pledge, waxes, ect
We try to advise all customers if we believe a new coat will
not adhere
If the new finish does not adhere, we will offer a discount
toward the cost of refinishing
